Día De Los Muertos – Kid Style

Día de los Muertos is a Mexican holiday that falls on November 2nd and is a celebration of All Soul’s Day.  The holidays focuses on remembering friends and family that have passed and is a celebration of life. Celebrating Día de los Muertos is a wonderful way to get the family together to reminisce and enjoy past and present.  What I love most about Día de los Muertos is the beautiful iconography that accompanies it.  You can even have the lil’ ones get in on the action with everything from bibs, stroller blankets, onesies and sippy cups.  The kiddos can even create their own Sugar Skulls with Crayola crafting products.  If you want to end the day with something authentic and sweet, then I highly recommend Pan de Muerto and Mexican Hot Chocolate with Vanilla and Chile.
