I Want This Dollhouse – For Myself

Apparently, dollhouses have come a long way baby since the time I had a dollhouse.  I remember my dollhouse clearly (it’s not that hard, I still have it at the house I grew up in) – I wanted it so badly and was bugging my parents about it forever.  My favorite aunt painstakingly put the dollhouse together for me – bit by bit – and everything in it and surprised me for Christmas.  It was the best gift ever… not only because I had wanted it so badly, but because it was made especially for me.

I was online today checking out Zulily‘s daily sales and came across The Emerson Dollhouse by Brinca Dada and my jaw dropped.   More model house than dollhouse, The Emerson Dollhouse is a “modern house, with seven rooms, an open floor plan, floor-to-ceiling windows, mitered-glass corners, two fireplaces, sliding glass doors and even solar panels to power the recessed LED lights. It’s easy on the environment, too, with non-toxic, lead-free wood stains and paints.”  Even the furniture is modern!  This is precisely my dream house – and I partly want to get this for myself and partly get it now for The Tiny Dancer because of the discounted price.  At least there won’t be a bidding war on this house!

You need to assemble the house yourself but Brinca Dada has a Youtube Channel with steps on how to put it together.
