Little Warrior Holiday 2011 Collection

Little Warrior released its Holiday look book showcasing Moroccan inspired styles for babies and toddlers. The Holiday 2011 collection features 7 unisex styles for babies and toddlers in a range of sizes from Newborn to 4T.

Inspired by designer, Maggie Fox’s three year old son, the collection is a mix of too big, too small, and everything in-between. Having made her son clothing here and there and mixing it with vintage pieces regardless of size, he became the muse for the line. “He kinda looks like he belongs in the photo I’ve been obsessed with….a group of gorgeous Moroccan children” Fox says. “Their clothes are a mixture of western hand-me-downs and beautiful fabrics wrapped and draped perfectly imperfect. The colors, their little slippers…Amazing. They don’t look poor to me. Instead they look rich with imagination, whimsy and innocence.”

The line, designed as well as produced in Los Angeles only uses the softest cotton blends like slub french terry for a broken in feel and interesting texture. The dusty colors oof the over-dyed fabrics are reminiscent of sun-faded textiles. The pieces in the collection reflect a fresh take on ethnic-inspired apparel, featuring details like hand embroidered details, suspenders and kangaroo pockets.

Little Warrior unisex styles range from baby french terry ponchos with Native-American blanket inspired graphics to slub french terry jodhpurs with suspenders. Designed by Maggie Fox the pieces for little men and women alike channel a laid back Southern California sensibility with a fashionable flair. Focusing on easy to wear pieces that will please fussy babies and fashionable parents all alike.

Little Warrior’s Holiday collection will be available in stores as October 15th and retails from $28 for a T-shirt to $100 for the jodhpurs. Little Warrior is sold at Clover (Los Angeles), Neu (Taiwan), Lull (Monaco), Babesta (New York City), and Little Bean (Dallas) as well as online at www.littlewarriorkids.com.
