One of our favorite children’s book authors, Dr. Seuss, was born on this day in 1904. I loved his books as a child and now I enjoy them again with my tiny dancer. There’s something so timeless about his stories and illustrations that I’m sure one day I’ll enjoy these stories again with my grandchildren.
The Lorax opens in theaters today so that would be a great way to celebrate. The Tiny Dancer is too young for the movie theater just yet but I’ll be sure to read The Cat in the Hat to her today. How are you celebrating Dr. Seuss’s birthday?
