PANTONE®: COLORS Children’s Book Review

I was so happy to receive a copy of PANTONE®: COLORS to review because I’m a huge fan of the Pantone® color system and had to use it extensively back when I was designing t-shirt graphics.  I flipped through the book and loved the simplicity of the layout and the striking colors.  Nine basic colors are featured along with twenty shades of each color – each of the variants are organized similarly to the iconic Pantone® swatches but the names come from familiar objects from a child’s world.

I know I love the book, but I thought I would actually see what the Tiny Dancer thought of it. She loves books but she especially loved PANTONE®: COLORS – I could tell because it held her attention for longer than usual. The saturated colors and illustrations entertained her and kept her busy. It’s easy to see why. She has lots of books, but none look quite this good.
