One of my favorite costume jewelry lines Cubannie Links is launching Hijo Hija, a line of costume jewelry for tiny dancers. Pronounced [ee'-ho] and [ee'-ha], Hijo Hija is Spanish for son and daughter.
I have many Cubannie Links pieces and many of the pieces in Hijo Hija look familiar – they’re just shrunken down to size for the little ones. The line is geared towards boys and girls between the ages of 6-14 and the debut collection includes ten pieces divided into earrings, bracelets and a necklace.
I love this line. The pieces look so youthful and fun and are durable enough to survive the playground. I love how the pieces can be mixed and matched and look great piled on in multiples or worn alone. My Tiny Dancer is already a fan of jewelry (she puts on mine any chance she gets) and I can’t wait until she’s old enough to wear Hijo Hija.
HIJO HIJA will be available at CubannieLinks.com April 9th, 2012 and available at YOYAMART located at 15 Gansevoort Street, NYC April 5th.
