Bugaboo has teamed up with Marc Jacobs and Missoni and now their latest designer stroller is designed by Dutch design duo Viktor & Rolf. The Viktor & Rolf for Bugaboo stroller dubbed “My First Car” features a monochromatic design in grey with detailing to look like a car such as hand-stitched handle bar and carry handle reminiscent of leather stitched steering wheels. The stroller and footmuff even come equipped with their own license plates reading “bb – ♡ – V&R”. My favorite design feature are the rear wheels with the Viktor & Rolf embelm in them.

Designers Designers Viktor Horsting & Rolf Snoeren stated:

Working on this collaboration with Bugaboo was a creative challenge for us as it’s out of our immediate design sphere, which always proves to be interesting as you can think about objects differently. In doing so, we envisioned a My First Car Bugaboo – a luxurious and innovative vehicle which is the ultimate in mobility design. There is a slightly ironic and unexpected twist as this Bugaboo takes to the open road – but we love the idea of any design object being transformative.

The (My First Car) Viktor & Rolf for Bugaboo Stroller is available in stores worldwide and in the U.S. at Nordstrom, Bloomingdales and Bugaboo.com beginning in September 2012.
