AHHHH! Two of my favorite things – Hello Kitty and sneakers – have joined for one of the cutest collaborations. A few months back Vans killed it with their Yo Gabba Gabba sneakers and now Vans has outdone themselves with the Hello Kitty collection. There are six different patterns and the shoes are available in adult sizes all the way down to infant slippers. Cuteness Overload!!! The Hello Kitty x Vans sneakers are available online now. I can’t wait to get some for the Tiny Dancer!!
I think sneakers are my favorite shoes of all time. I’m big on comfort and fun and sneakers are the best footwear to play around in. My love affair with kicks started as a little kids so it’s only natural that the Tiny Dancer has a nice little collection which includes a generous gift pack from Vans and vintage LA Gears from her Titi Busy Lady Baca aka The Goods!
Many of the major sneaker brands offer a selection for the kiddos. From Nike, adidas, Puma and Converse – you can find mini versions of your favorite styles. The Tiny Dancer is still too young to watch Yo Gabba Gabba! but the show is ubiquitous enough that I know of the show and the cult following that it has. Vans has been collaborating with brands and shows for some time, their collaboration with the Simpsons quite possibly one of the best ever, so it’s no surprise that the sneaker company teamed up with Yo Gabba Gabba! to produce a line of kids shoes.
The Yo Gabba Gabba! x Vans collection for kids is available online now in a variety of styles featuring all the characters as a group and individually on SK8-Hi Deconstructs and Classic Slip-Ons for girls, boys (sizes 10.5 through 4) and toddlers (0 to 4). MSRPs for the Classic Slip-Ons are $32 for toddlers and $40 for kids, while MSRPs for the SK8-Hi Deconstruct are $37 for toddlers and $45 for kids. Due to the popularity of the styles, the Classic Slip-Ons will be available for adults in March 2011.
